2008 Olympic Silver Medalist 2006/07 WNBL Most Valuable Player (MVP) 2006 World Championship and Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist 2005 Basketball Australia's International Female Player of the Year Player Details: Club: AIX BASKET FRANCE Position: Forward/Centre DOB: 16/12/1983 Height: 190cm Technical Description: Hollie Grima is a tall athletic player that can run the floor and rebound. She has good touch around the ring and a sound jump shot. Hollie was a dominant player in the 2006/07 WNBL competition where she averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game. She was also the winner of the League MVP award as well as being named in the All-Star Five. Hollie has also won her club Bulleen Melbourne Boomers Most Valuable Player award. She is an integral member of the Australian Opals team that won both the Commonwealth Games and World Championship in 2006. In 2008 she played in the Beijing Olympic Games and received a Silver Medal. She is currently playing for AIX Basket in France for 2009. |
